Tim Hibbard CEO for EnGraph software

I freaked out this morning because I thought I screwed up our Team Foundation Server by using the TFS Admin tool to modify some permissions.  Apparently, you are not supposed to use this tool on non-domain based installs.

When I pulled up our source control, right clicking on anything gave an empty menu that said "No commands available".  After googling around, I found Grant Holliday's blog, which told me to make sure TFS was set as my default source control provider.  Turns out that Vault put itself back as the default provider.  It's probably not Vault's fault.  I've been viewing Vault control projects as I migrate them over to TFS.

Finally (!) Microsoft strikes back against Apple's hilariously funny "I'm a Mac. I'm a PC." commercials

Version control is a process of managing the ongoing development and edits of programming code and sometimes other digital documents, we use Subversion for many of our projects so we can track changes and edits from multiple developers. Using subversion you are able to see the latest changed files and what lines in those files have changed, great work, keep it up..

Most activity in Team Foundation Server revolves around a "work item". A work item is a single unit of work which needs to be completed, Team Foundation Server defines what types of work items are available and what attributes each type of work item contains..

I am very careful while dealing with these kind of client projects. make a single mistake and everything is gone , you even can't fix them up.
