Screen scraping is a technique in which a computer program extracts data from the display output of another program(source:wikepedia)

The following code could be used to do screen scraping from a web site.

HttpWebResponse response;

WebProxy proxy = new WebProxy(proxyaddress);

proxy.Credentials = new NetworkCredential("username","password");

HttpWebRequest request = (HttpWebRequest)System.Net.HttpWebRequest.Create(url);

request.Proxy = proxy;

response = (HttpWebResponse)request.GetResponse();

using (StreamReader sr = new StreamReader(response.GetResponseStream()) )

{

result = sr.ReadToEnd();

// Close and clean up the StreamReader

sr.Close();

}
