Can we deploy a Content Type as a feature with some extended settings like "Workflow settings" and "Information management policy settings"?

I have a small question for sharepoint experts. :)

Can we deploy a Content Type as a feature with some extended settings like "Workflow settings" and "Information management policy settings"?

If so please enlighten me on how to do that.
