The Saskatchewan Trip So Far...

Regina was a blast. It was a lot of fun connecting with the local developer community, and the turnout to the event was a great testament to what's going on there. Don't discount SK my friends, there's good stuff going on. I'm pretty sure that trend will continue tonight at the Saskatoon Community Connection event as well.

I flew into Saskatoon this morning on Transwest Air. The plane was *small*. I've never flown on a plane that sat six before, and where you had a full view of the pilot and steward/co-pilot (?!) from your seat. It was actually a novelty for me, being able to see the runway during our approach...and even with room for only 6, I had more legroom than on a Westjet flight.

Now I sit here at the Hilton...where I can't check in until 3 (THREE?! Seriously?! OMG...I don't understand how hotels, which are *never* filled to capacity, can't allow someone to check in early...so instead of staying in my room, I'm in their lobby working...makes SO MUCH SENSE).

I need to find a new camera too. I think my old one went *poof*...luckily I didn't have any memory cards in it, so we didn't lose any pictures or media...but still...

Alright...back to getting some work done...
