Falcons Week 2: Buc's Get Fed

Wednesday, September 20, 2006 3:00 AM

The Falcons continued their Tour of Victory throughout the NFC South this week with a convincing win over the Tampa Bay Buc's...well, the ones that showed up to play anyway.

Vick was Vicklicious as usual, rushing for 127 yards and a TD while Warrick Dunn ran all over his former team.

Next week the Tour of Victory visits New Orleans, where the 2007 Superbowl Champion Atlanta Falcons will break the heart of The Big Easy and end the NO Saints winning fluke...er, streak.

Dirty Birds 4 Life!

Enjoy it while it lasts! After the Panthers get over their stupidity and get back to their butt-kicking selves ATL will be lost. Panthers play the Falcons again near the end of the season. 9/20/2006 8:29 AM | Lance

"After the Panthers get over their stupidity..."

LOL...at the rate they're going, that'll be just in time for the 2010 season! Seriously, they had the game against the Vikings won and then they just throw it away like that?! Wow.

"...and get back to their butt-kicking selves..."

In all seriousness, there is something wrong there. I'm not sure why Delhomme isn't hooking up with his boys the way he has in the past. I picked him as my qb in a fantasy league I'm in, but he's been a total bust so far. I'm starting Byron Leftwhich now instead and actually making points. Their #1 ranked defense hasn't looked hot against two struggling teams either.

"Panthers play the Falcons again near the end of the season"

Well...more like the Panthers will play the Falcons practice squad, since they'll be benching their starters in prep for their playoff games. ;)

Good to know who my NFC South blogging rivals are.

I guess I can't really argue much with you here. I will stay mostly silent for now. :P Yeah the Vikings game made me sick, and I was almost over my sickness from the Atl game. Ugh. I hope somebody knocked out Chris Gamble, I don't know what he was thinking! 9/21/2006 8:54 AM | Lance
