CFL Week 3 Predictions

Thursday, June 29, 2006 4:25 PM

I was switching channels tonight when I discovered that there's a game! Those raskily CFL scheduling folks snuck a Thursday night game in on us! So here's the predictions for this week (short week too, only three games)

Hamilton Gets a Win
Hamilton and Calgary should be a great game tonight...two spunky teams going at it. I think this is the week for Hamilton to get a notch in the win column though.

BC Three and O
C'mon, if the Bombers can shut down Toronto's Offense, what do you think Dave Ritchie's D will do to them? BC continues to show their dominance.

Edmonton over Winnipeg...but not by much
Winnipeg has an amazing defense, I can't argue that. But they have a horrible offense. Edmonton...well, they're just average after off season changes altered their Grey Cup roster from last year. But on paper, Ricky Ray and Edmonton *should* come up with a win over the Bombers. Until I see Kevin Glenn actually throw a TD (he's still the only CFL QB that hasn't), I just can't throw my backing behind them.

Enjoy the games this weekend, and happy Canada Day!
