UG Summit, Montreal, Making Cows

Monday, May 8, 2006 9:34 PM

So today was my first full day of stuff. We had our Canadian User Group Summit all day today. It was a great time...we talked through a bunch of issues and items, and had a great information sharing session. Guy Barette posted some pic's on his site, which you can see here. I think the best thing that came out of it is the realization that all our user groups are different, and have various needs, but that there's alot of communication and sources of support. It was awesome to hear what's going on elsewhere in Canada, especially the Ontario and Quebec user groups since I haven't had as much contact with them. Good times.

I've been eating like crap this week so far:

Sunday: Double Bacon Burger and Fries
Monday Lunch: Bacon Burger and Fries
Monday Dinner: Burger and Fries

See a bad trend here? I need to start having a bit more variety me'thinks. Jean-Luc is going to take me to the best Montreal Smoked Meat place in town, so I'm looking forward to that.

Anyway, really tired...off to bed.

Oh...and if you wonder where they get the sperm for manually inseminating cows...its what you think...funny what comes up in discussion while watching hockey in a Montreal pub with bad Irish music playing.
