As I prepare for my yearly pilgrimage to Microsoft (also known as the MVP Summit), I also happen to be wrapping up my current gig through Magenic. When I get back from Redmond, I'll have a day left here and then the weekend. After that, I'm off to whereever Magenic sends me next.
I also got some good news via email today. I've been appointed to the Magenic Technology Council.
From the email:
The purpose of the MTC is to recognize Magenic consultants/associates who are evangelizing Microsoft technologies within Magenic and the community at large, and to encourage both MTC members and everyone else to become active, involved and enthusiastic about the very cool technologies we all use on a regular basis.
and my bio:
Chris Williams is a Senior Consultant / Technology Evangelist for Magenic. He is the founder of several .NET User Groups on the east coast, and most recently the newly formed Twin Cities XNA User Group. He is a VB.NET MVP, rabid blogger (http://geekswithblogs.net/cwilliams) and owner of www.ILoveVB.NET. He's also a MCT, MCSD.NET Early Adopter, MCAD, freelance game developer, tech-editor, occasional author, code camp & user group speaker, vintage arcade game collector and plays a pretty mean guitar in Rock Band.
