Ug, DIY, when will it end? As you may have guessed from my last post, the wife and I have been up to our necks in turning our new house (well it was actually built in 1840) from a building site into what is a home and trying to live here at the same time. It's a big project and living in 3 rooms of an 8 room house is far from easy and creature comforts like carpets and curtains are a premium, no point in all that jazz until the builders have finished renovations which our great British summer has helped no end.
Just to add to the fun, I've also changed jobs and role. I'm working for a FTSE 50 company (please forgive me if I don't name drop this time) as an Architect but this time around I'm spending a great deal of my time doing Enterprise Architecture. What's that exactly? Well I will keep you in suspense as it's the subject of a not to distant future post that I'm putting the finishing touches to.
So dear reader, I have returned from my little break and back into blogging mode outstanding DIY jobs permitting. Ug again!
